Let’s Talk: Farming + Mental Wellbeing

Wednesday, May 25 | 11:30 – 12 p.m. CST

As long hours, working in isolation and unpredictable weather can take their toll on a person, it’s no surprise that nearly 70% of growers are susceptible to chronic stress. With the growing season underway and our focus turned to productivity in the fields, where do we find the time and energy to invest in our mental wellbeing?

Join us on May 25 as we welcome special guest speaker Megz Reynolds, Executive Director of The Do More Agriculture Foundation (Do More Ag) to Let’s Talk: Farming + Mental Wellbeing. Megz will share with us some of the resources and programs Do More Ag has made available to Canadian producers, agronomists and others in the ag industry to help us keep a healthy mind during one of the busiest times of year.

Registration is free and simple. Just click below!

As the Executive Director of Do More Ag she looks forward to using her background in advocacy and policy development to strengthen partnerships, raise awareness, create community and do more for those in agriculture, their families and rural communities.

The Do More Agriculture Foundation is the national voice and champion for mental health in Canadian agriculture and is changing the culture of agriculture to one where all producers are encouraged, supported, and empowered to take care of their mental wellbeing.
